Emmanuel
Darkwa Ampadu is the name of the fun loving, humorous and ambitious gentleman
who loves to be caught working out always. Graduating from the Kumasi
Polytechnic with an HND in Building Technology, Mr. Ampadu had his basic
education at Rosharon Montessori Junior High School and second-cycle education
in Pope John Senior High School, Koforidua.
Relatively
new in the modelling industry, Emmanuel is currently building his portfolio
with high hopes of nailing deals with energy drinks and renowned sports brands
like Nike in the near future. The well-built handsome gentlemen also eyes being
in an advert for Airtel soon. “I just love the network” was the reason he gave
for this desire.
Driven by
the aspiration of becoming the best in what he does, Emmanuel tries as much as
possible to learn a lot from models who have a reputable history in the
business whilst working exceeding hard to become better. The social media
inclined model does not relent on using the fora to grow his career. Emmanuel
has adopted platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, Google + and Twitter to create
a lot of awareness for his brand and the squat he wants to do.
The young
model recommended attachment to agency for new comers in the modelling saying, “Freelance
modelling is the best when you are already established and you know your way
around hence more money. However, the agency attachment turns to benefit
newcomers a lot, raising them to the desired level.” Emmanuel Darkwa Ampadu is
under the friendly and heathy management of his photographer, Queku Obeng whom
he gives a lot of credit to for how far he has come in the industry. He also
mentioned and extended much gratitude to Eugene Okonah Frimpong, CEO of Dieu
Regne, for the wakeup call, Adwenpa Baiden, CEO of Fourth April multimedia, Mr.
David Attricki for the exposure and his mum, family and friends for all the
support.
Emmanuel, who
does not have preference for tattoos despite his well-built body did not rubbish
the art. Asked on his view on body art he said, “I for one don't do tattoos.
There might be reasons behind it and some simple preference but I have no need
and don't think I will have one.”
Mr. Ampadu
is into studio modeling and more inclined to video advertisement. Practically
an attractive young man, Emmanuel is very cautious how he relates to ladies. He
said that he relates to them with maximum care. Sharing his views on some
issues in the industry pertaining to young people, especially ladies, thinking
of modelling as an easy means to riches and fame, Emmanuel stressed, “It's
never an easy way because some poses are really difficult to pull off and also
keeping in shape requires constant working out and that alone is difficult. The
job can be difficult.”
“I actually
put my work first before my social life because the money would help make
social life fun,” was the answer the man who has Boris Cudjoe as a role model
gave when he was asked how he balances work and social life. By dint of
hardwork, Emmanuel tries to push himself to the limit anytime he hits the gym.
Unlike other, he plans on what he is going to do before he gets to the gym.
With a good laid down plan, Emmanuel concentrates on specific muscles daily and
not mush them up. The results of his good workout plan are evident in the
stature he has attained.
The well-muscled
man did not refute the fact that some people use enhancement drugs in their
body building spree. He however cited, “on a bigger ratio I think people are
using safer methods due to easy access to research mediums to research such
methods.
Emmanuel
Darkwa Ampadu who sees a lot of potential in the modelling industry in Ghana advised
young people “With God, everything works well. Don't think it is down to your
ability. Guess what he woke you up today?”
